The discovery of polyhedron formula by Euler had a profound impact on the future course of mathematics; paving way for the birth of topology. This important result is very simple looking, determines the relation between vertices, edges and faces of a polyhedron. Here we will discuss some of its proofs by Euler, Legendre and Cauchy, all of them unique in their own respect and shed some light on the history of mathematics.
