Abstract of the Talk

Group theory plays an important role in studying symmetry. For instance dihedral groups arise from the symmetries of regular polygons. Similarly we can study motion groups of various geometric figures like triangle, square tetrahedron, cube, etc which are permutation of vertices that can be realized by rigid motion in spaces. We shall discuss them in the talk.
