Locating Zeroes of Complex Polynomials
From Niserwiki
Abstract of the Talk
The talk intends to demonstrate how to locate zeros of complex polynomials. We shall discuss that Rolle's Theorem, in general, is not valid in the complex domain, and under what conditions, we can make it hold. Moreover we will discuss Gauss-Lucas theorem which can be thought as a generalization of Rolle's Theorem, and how it can be used to get some definite idea of zeros.
