Abstract of the Talk

Prime numbers have fascinated mathematicians since ancient times and continue to do so. The talk begins with the most basic question "How long the sequence of primes continue?". Then it goes on to give the famous Riemann Zeta function and the connection between prime numbers and the Zeta Function by means of Euler Product. Finally, it covers the statement of one of the most important open problem in mathematics i.e. "THe Riemann Hypothesis".
