I am passionate about engaging young minds in science. At the
National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), I
teach a broad range of physics courses — including Quantum
Mechanics, Relativity, Nuclear and Particle Physics — to
undergraduate and graduate students. I supervise PhD scholars and
postdoctoral researchers, and enjoy working alongside students on
projects that connect education with frontline research. Links
above provide more about my students and collaborators.
In 2022, I established the Centre for Medical & Radiation Physics (CMRP) at NISER, which offers a 2-year M.Sc. in Medical and Radiological Physics followed by a 1-year mandatory clinical internship in a recognized hospital. As part of this initiative, I am also leading the efforts to develop a 30 MeV medical cyclotron facility on campus — a key national resource for nuclear medicine and isotope production.
