The animals will be provided to other institutes subject to the condition that they fulfil criterion as laid down by CPCSEA. Following documents will be required for sale of animals to other institutes -

• - Copy of the CPCSEA registration certificate of their institute/establishment.
• - Copy of Institutional Animal Ethics Committee approval certificate against which animals are will be procured.
• - Advance payment will be asked in NISER account. Transportation and packing cost will be extra.

Based on availability of logistics, limited number of request for carrying out animal experiments by external users on a project turnover basis will be offered. For all such request the external users may submit the brief research proposal in prescribed format. Based on the requirement of the user the AH staff will prepare a quote for using the research facility on payment basis. Approval will be taken from competent authority and IAEC before execution of work.

Quotes will be provided based on the experimental requirements and strain of animals. The end user will be charged rent on per cage or per animal basis depending upon the strain of the animals and other special requirements. The charges will include all aspects of day to day maintenance such as food, bedding, medicine, cage change, sanitization etc.

Depending upon availability, few instruments will be made available for the external users. Quotes will be provided for using specific research equipment. The charges will include manpower, reagent and sample processing cost. The cost will be decided based on requirement and number of samples to be processed.
